STMNT X ANDYSMANCLUB
Many men still see expressing emotions as a sign of weakness, making speaking up feel hard. But opening up early can prevent things from reaching a crisis point. That’s why we’ve partnered with ANDYSMANCLUB to create a safe space where men can talk, share, and support one another. Together, we’re breaking the stigma and making mental health a priority.

"Vulnerability should be seen as a display of strength, opening up helps everyone."
- ANDYSMANCLUB
The stigma around men opening up is still strong, often driven by the belief that showing emotion is a sign of weakness. We understand how hard it can be for men to express their true feelings, and we want to reframe vulnerability as a display of strength.
Opening up involves speaking honestly about your thoughts and feelings. It’s not just sharing difficult moments. It’s also about celebrating achievements and everyday wins-something many men struggle to do.
Normalize open conversations about emotions and create a more supportive environment for everyone. For example, leaders taking the initiative to talk openly about stress or anxiety, so it encourages others to talk about their feelings too.
The right time is now, because it’s always okay to talk.
You can often sense when someone’s struggling, even if they don’t say it. Maybe they seem distant, their emotions are harder to read, or they cancel plans more often. Checking in doesn’t need to feel like pressure-simply letting them know you’re there to talk or listen when they’re ready can mean a lot. Sometimes a gentle question like “Are you okay?” or “Do you want to talk about it?” is all it takes to open the door.
ANDYSMANCLUB is a UK-based organization offering free peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18 and over. With more than 300 clubs nationwide and an online option, it provides a safe, non-clinical space-no referral process, no waiting lists-where men can talk openly about mental health without judgment.
Every week, over 6,500 men attend sessions to share experiences and find support. Contributions are entirely voluntary, and anyone can help by donating via JustGiving or contacting info@andysmanclub.co.uk.
